At our office, we ensure that patients receive the most advanced eye care. Our office regularly attends seminars and conferences devoted to new treatments, new technologies and excellent patient care practices. With patient care as our top priority, this is our commitment to you.
Appointments are an important part of your treatment, as time has been reserved specifically for you to talk with the doctor and receive treatment. Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you might be asked to reschedule your appointment.
We request a 24-48 hours' notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and appreciate your cooperation.
Chronic cancellations at short notice or not showing up for one's appointment may cause, at the attending doctor's discretion, (1) a reservation fee to book a future appointment or (2) dismissal from the practice for this abuse of valuable treatment time.
If you receive prescription medication during your visit, the doctor will generally indicate whether a refill is available. Should you need a refill, first check with your pharmacy to see if there are any remaining refills available on the original prescription. If there are not any refills remaining, please call the office and inform the staff. If the refill is approved, it will be called into your preferred pharmacy within 48 hours. If the refill is not approved, the staff will contact you to discuss this matter. To receive a prescription refill, all patients must be seen in the office by a doctor once a year or more frequently depending on the medication.
